The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programs across central universities, state universities, and other participating institutions in India.

50 questions for each test paper. All questions are compulsory.
60 minutes for each test paper (Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour for PwBD candidates)
Correct Answer: +5 marks
Incorrect Answer: -1 mark (Negative marking)
The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts, depending on the number of candidates and subject choices.
Language to be tested through reading comprehension (based on different types of passages – Factual, Literary, and Narrative), Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.

General knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra/geometry/mensuration/statistics), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.

CUET UG examination will be conducted from 11-31 May 2026 (Tentative) across multiple days in various shifts. The exact schedule will be announced with the admit card.
Display of Recorded Responses and Answer Keys will be published on the NTA website. Date will be announced later.
Declaration of Result on the NTA website. Results and scorecards will be published on the official website, followed by counseling and admission processes by universities.
